2006 800 EFI Limited Edition

This is a monster. It is tough, fast, capable, and reliable. I've rolled it twice. Once on ice and ended up doing $1300 in damage. New front plastic, new winch control, new master cylinder, new steering post, new AWD selector, etc... The second time it broke my leg but came out unscathed except for a popped tire bead. It's heavy, but I like that when I plow the 2/3 mile worth of snow off my road. I did a rolling start race with a Sportsman 500 and beat it. Barely. But I weigh 290, my opponent is a buck eighty five. I had a cooler full of ice and food/drinks and 4 gallons of fuel strapped on the back, and the front had all my clothes, tools and first aid kit. I still felt it should have smoked him easier, so I'm going to look in to aftermarket performance upgrades. This machine is big, serious, and will hurt you if you don't respect it. Always wear a helmet! My helmet has some very nice custom graphics on it courtesy of my 800 smashing my face into the side of the mountain as it rolled over me and left tire skid marks on the back of my brain bucket. The 800 EFI works great for varying terrain, snow plowing, utility work, etc.. It is a Cadillac ride and it feels solid, is solid and the dependability is top notch. I love it and won't ever trade it. Plus it scares my wife, so I don't have to share.

Upgrades/Accessories:  Warn 2500lb winch with handlebar mounted controls Polaris electric hand warmers with pod mounted hi/lo/off switch. Aftermarket light mod converting hi-beam to all three lights. Small chain stops mounted on each side of front trunk lid to prevent breakover when gear is mounted on front rack. Glacier 56inch V plow. Snow chains.
